Ben Hamilton's Last Session

We lost a great friend of Summa Love to cancer this past weekend. Ben was always so stoked on the kids learning to surf. He had nothing but positivity to bring to the water when he surfed with us. His stoke and smile will be missed at Phillips. It will not be the same without him. These photos are from his last session at Phillips in August after a year of heavy chemo. He told us the feeling of being in the water after all those brutal chemo sessions was like the feeling he felt when he fist stood up on a surfboard. Indescribable. He literally felt as free as one could be and in tune with nature more so than ever before. He makes us all realize how gifted and appreciative we are to have an amazing ocean in our back yard. And of coarse how nice it is that we can enjoy our beautiful ocean with being healthy. He teaches us to never take life for granted. Were not here long. Live it, love it, cherish it and seize it. Like Ben Hamilton. Ben will be missed dearly. R.I.P.

Deal Parking Nightmares

The Borough of Deal has introduced an ordinance to require permit parking on 6 of the 14 streets east of Ocean Ave. Please come to the meeting of the Mayor and Commissioners on October 9th at 9AM to express your opposition to this. The address:
